Households’ Preferences and Willingness to Pay for Renewable Energy Technologies: Contingent Valuation and Choice Experiment Surveys

This is the first session of the webinar series “Climate Research ‘As If People Mattered’.”

The Climate Research series begins with an exploration in energy and economics: what does the data say about Philippine households’ willingness to pay for renewable energy? We will be joined by Dr. Rosalina Palanca-Tan, a colleague from the Department of Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University. In this session, we will have a glimpse into Dr. Palanca-Tan’s research as we explore renewable energy as a climate change mitigation strategy.
