Gendering Climate Change Impacts: Placing Women’s Human Rights at the Forefront

This is the second session of the webinar series “Climate Research ‘As If People Mattered’.”

Climate impacts are and will continue to be felt unequally around the world, whether among and within countries. This is particularly true when we consider the impacts that will be felt by women, and an important aspect of climate justice is the question of gender. In this session, we welcome our colleague from the Ateneo Law School, Atty. Ryan Jeremiah Quan, as he discusses using a human rights-based approach in analyzing the situation of women affected by climate change.
