For our inaugural webinar, the MCR ADMU Hub invites Dr Emma E Porio, Professor, Department of Sociology & Anthropology of the Ateneo de Manila University, to share her insights on climate resilience initiatives of community-based organizations. We explore their climate perception, perceived risks, and climate information needs.

Our second Climate Voices webinar features Dr Ma Laurice Jamero, Head of the Resilience Collaboratory at the Manila Observatory. Join us as we listen to her experiences as both a scientist and community organizer, and the insights she can share on the climate information needs of low-lying coastal and island communities.
Webinar 3: Climate Risk and Microenterprises

In our third and final Climate Voices webinar for 2022, we are joined by two guest speakers: Dr Ma Assunta C. Cuyegkeng, Professor, Department of Educational Leadership and Management, and Ms Raquel Cementina-Olpoc, an instructor from the Department of Leadership and Strategy, both from the Ateneo de Manila University. Dr Cuyegkeng and Ms Cementina-Olpoc will share their insights on climate risks of microenterprises. We dive into how this critical sector makes sense of their experience of climate change, and what their climate information needs are.
